Let It Fly!

It is soooo hard to believe you are 30!!! It seems just like yesterday you were about 2 years of age, being potty trained and your parents needed us to watch you for the weekend. Being childless ourselves at the time, it was much easier to stay at your house. The whole potty training thing was a mystery to us so there we sat on the couch waiting for your first "trip"...could we handle it?????? Well the announcement came (actually I don't think it was an announcement I think it was more of a gesture...what is it that little boys like to hold???)! You ran to the bathroom and pulled your shorts around your knees and maintaining a tight grip started yelling and stomping your feet, "my tool! my tool!" How silly it was 2 adults and 1 child all in one bathroom for this big event. Of course your Uncle had to interject that "you had the only tool you needed" but you just got louder and stomped a little faster. Well, you recognized our expressions as clueless and you ran from the bathroom, pants around your knees, and an even tighter grip on that "thing" boys like to hold, returning with your "STOOL". You plopped it down in front of the toilet, jumped up on the stool, stuck your belly out, released your grip and let it fly! Boy were you proud! It was priceless. Your life has continued to include so many things for which you can be proud (we are). You are a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother and nephew. We wish you a VERY happy belated birthday and ALL the BEST the future can bring. LET IT FLY!!!!!
